A Look Back at Our Accomplishments

Maryland LCV's 2024 Impact Report

Your Support Turned Bold Climate Goals Into Real-World Action

When Governor Moore announced Maryland’s ambitious Climate Pollution Reduction Plan last December, many wondered if we could translate these bold goals into reality. Thanks to supporters like you, we didn’t just plan for change – we made it happen. Your voice and advocacy helped secure $90 million in climate funding, ensuring Maryland families will benefit from cleaner air, cheaper energy bills, and healthier communities.

Three Major Legislative Victories You Made Possible:

The Brighter Tomorrow Act

Made solar power more accessible and affordable for Maryland communities, especially benefiting moderate-income families.

EmPOWER Reform

Updated our energy efficiency programs, helping families save money while reducing emissions. Early estimates show this could save Maryland households an average of $200 annually on energy bills.

Manufacturing Accountability

Ensured manufacturers do their part in reducing emissions, creating a fairer approach to fighting climate change.
