Join over 40 organizations along with transit supporters throughout Maryland at our virtual kick-off rally to #SaveMarylandTransit! Special guests include Delegate Brooke Lierman and Senator Cory McCray, co-sponsors of the Transit Safety & Investment Act being considered by the Maryland General Assembly.

Our goal is to assure the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) has sufficient funding so that Marylanders can safely and reliably travel to their destinations — work, school, shopping, medical appointments, places of worship and more — every day. MTA currently projects a $2 billion shortfall in funds needed to maintain a state of good repair for MARC trains, buses, subway, light rail and mobility over the next decade. We cannot allow this situation to stand!

An adequately funded MTA will result in safer and reliable public transit service, less traffic congestion, a healthier populace, more equitable transit, a stronger economy, and access to a wider workforce for Maryland businesses.

Be a part of the effort to #SaveMDTransit by attending our virtual kick-off rally on Jan 19 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm and learning how you can support the Transit Safety & Investment Act. Registration is free!
