How much are tickets?
Individual tickets are $200. Tickets for young professionals (21-30) are $100. Tickets are available here.
Do I need a paper or digital ticket?
Changemakers is a ‘ticketless’ event. All guests must pre-purchase a ticket and be pre-registered. Upon arrival at the event, please check-in at the registration table for your name badge.
What is the timeline of the event?
5:00pm – Doors open and welcome cocktails served
5:30pm – Program including awards presentation and panel discussion
6:30pm – Networking reception with appetizers and beverages
What’s the dress code?
Business cocktail attire is recommended for this event.
Where do I park?
Free parking is available after 4:00pm in Surface Lot 1b, located behind the Riggs Alumni Center. Paid parking is available any time in the Stadium Drive Garage and the Union Lane Garage for $3 per hour. Please see the map below (Riggs Alumni Center highlighted in red).
Is there EV charging available?
EV charging stations are located in parking garages across the UMD campus. Please see the map below or visit the UMD Transportation Services website for more details.
I’m coming from out of town. What accommodations are nearby?
There are many hotels in College Park that are a short distance from the venue. Some options include:
- The Hotel at UMD
- College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center
- Cambria Hotel College Park
- Best Western Plus College Park
I bought a ticket but can no longer attend. Can someone else use my ticket?
Yes. You may transfer your ticket to someone else, or you can donate your ticket(s) to the All-Access Fund, which enables frontline and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) community members, social justice leaders, local environmentalists, business owners, and partner organizations to attend the Changemakers event. Please email us at changemakers@mdlcv.org. If transferring your ticket to someone else, please provide their full name and email address. All attendees must be pre-registered.
Is the event accessible/what accessibility accommodations are available?
This event meets the following ADA standards:
- Accessible restrooms
- Mainly flat ground
- Dedicated seating
- Wide doorways and walkways
- Handicap parking*
- *There are handicap parking spaces at the side of the Riggs Alumni Center building off of Alumni Drive. Handicap parking is also available in Surface Lot 1b. There is an elevator from the lot down to the main level of the Alumni Center. You may also utilize the drive in the front (stadium side) of the Riggs Alumni Center for curbside drop off.
