Advocate for Offshore Wind Energy on October 24 – Your Voice is Needed

Your support for clean energy in Maryland has been vital in driving our state toward a renewable energy future. Now, we have a key opportunity to voice our support for offshore wind energy at a crucial hearing.

Join us on Tuesday, October 24, 5:00 – 9:00 PM at

Ocean City Elementary

An in-person hearing hosted by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) on Maryland’s offshore wind project.

Your presence will significantly bolster our collective stance for renewable energy in Maryland. The format for public comment is in private with BOEM representatives, not at a podium or in front of others. The timing is also flexible. You can arrive at any time between 5:00-9:00 to visit various information tables, and provide your comment.

This is a key moment for offshore wind in Maryland.

Your support will help ensure that we keep wind projects on track, which will create clean energy to help power hundreds of thousands of homes. The meeting will also be a chance to learn how some wind turbines can improve underwater habitats with little to no disturbances.

Can’t make it in person? Register to attend virtually on October 19 (1:00 – 5:00 PM) or October 30 (5:00 – 9:00 PM).
